It’s BACK!!!! The shoe that started it all, the Air Jordan I. First released in 1984, then re-released in 1995. The Black and Red colorway was banned by the NBA in 1985. The League said “they were too colorful”, “ they needed more white”, well what they didn’t know was when they banned them they started a shoe buying frenzy. 16 styles later Air Jordan’s continue to sell out. Notice the swoosh on the sides, the AJ I was the first and the last Jordan shoe to have the swoosh on the side other than the swoosh in the Logo that appears on the back, or the bottoms, and/or tongue. This is a true collectors item. If you just started your own shoe collection or want to start one, whether it’s a Jordan collection or not, this shoe is a must have for ANY collection.
